Welcome to Aikido Dentoukan, Self Defence Doncaster.
Aikido Dentoukan, Self Defence Doncaster is a Martial Arts school training in the Traditional Style of Aikido (as taught by Morihei Ueshiba O'Sensei and his Technical Heir Morihiro Saito Sensei. Currently situated at the 479 Belmore Road, Mont Albert North, our Dojo has been training beginners to Blackbelt for some 10 years.
Aikido Dentoukan (Traditional School of Aikido) emphasize basic and fundamental training of taijitsu (open-handed technique), bokken (wooden sword) and jo (wooden staff). In order to really embrace and unleash true Aikido one must strengthen both body and skills over a long period of time to build confidence and above all to build a good solid foundation to advance from. We believe that whatever reasons a student is looking for within a martial art whether it is for self defense, increasing confidence or better physical health they can find it in practicing Aikido.
